Local groups like The Survivor Arts Community and The Cathkin Blazes have been running projects geared towards survivors, with the aim of providing a safe space to socialise, create and play.

We caught up with Simon Murphy, before the release of his first book, GOVANHILL. He gave us insight into how the project first developed and how he decided what photo would feature on the cover.

This Friday sees the launch of our collaborative exhibition, as part of Scotland’s Year of Stories and the Govanhill International Festival and Carnival. Twenty-five images of objects that have meaning for their owners will be on display in the shop and cafe windows around Govanhill.
