Scandal is a multicultural club night run by South Asian queer students involved in Scotland’s Hip-hop scene incorporating Bhangra and other genres.
WSHWSH is a collective for MENA/SWANA folk to meet, party, and get sweaty on the dance floor. WSHWSH aim to provide spaces where we can celebrate our culture by dancing to some of the best tunes from our region, mixed in with a range of other genres like techno and Afrobeats.

Alongside Mestre Baiano, Ponta-Cabeça offers regular classes of Capoeira Regional in Govanhill. The classes take place every Thursday from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Govanhill Neighbourhood Centre, 6 Daisy St, Govanhill, Glasgow G42 8JL.
Lessons involve learning capoeira music, movements and playing in a roda. We also teach related techniques from traditional Brazilian culture, including puxada de rede and maculêlê.
