Falastin Film Festival: FREE Puppetry Workshop for 5-12 Year Olds

Join Olive Harvest in Palestine: A Puppetry Workshop for 5-12 year olds 🕊️

As part of this year’s festival, we wanted to bring some artist-led child-friendly activities to expand our screening programme :-)

The workshop will involve story-telling, puppetry-making, and performing a short story about land, food, family, community, and perseverance.
Inspired by Wafa Shami and Shaima Farouki’s book ‘Olive Harvest in Palestine’, a plea for a free Palestine where olive trees blossom in peace.

This session will be facilitated by Gonca Yalcin @yalcingonca and Maya El Nahal @mclrart and hosted at @cca_glasgow

📆 Sat 10 May, 2-4pm
📍Learning Space, Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA)

🎟️ To book your place, head to the CCA’s website at cca-glasgow / programme! Tickets are donation-encouraged but booking is necessary. All funds will be donated directly to Gaza. Please book 1 space per child - all children must be accompanied by an adult.
