20 Jan at 12pm: Every other week. Cycle around Queens Park with flags and banners to show support for Palestine. For people pf all abilities, including families and young children. Read more.

GMAC Short Film Screening - Medical Aid Palestine Fundraiser

Friday 26th Jan at 6.00pm -7.30pm,GMAC will be hosting a fundraiser screening of short films at GMAC Film (Trongate 103), in partnership with the Scottish Documentary Institute and Short Circuit with all proceeds being donated to Medical Aid for Palestinians. Get tickets here.

Women Don't Cycle - Screening

1 Feb at 7pm: Join us for the screening of the documentary Women Don't Cycle, a film about what it means to be a woman cycling in different countries. Tickets are available here.

Woodlands Community Anti-Racist Film Club Screening of Human Flow (2017)

30 Jan at 5:30pm: Screening of Ai Weiwei's film, Human Flow, followed by discussion. Tickets are available here.

Freedom to Run film screening

9 Feb at 7pm: Palestinians in the West Bank cannot travel more than 10 kilometres without being stopped by Israeli restrictions. Checkpoints, demands for permits and the apartheid wall surrounding the occupied territories are all part of the struggle of daily life. Tickets are available here.

Peace for Palestine Fundraiser gig

9 Feb at 7pm: Come join us to see talented Scottish artists come together for "Peace for Palestine" Fundraiser gig. Tickets are available here.

Charity Clothes Swap at Sylvan

4 February at 12pm: Entry is suggested £5+. All ticket money will be donated to Medical Aid for Palestinians. BRING clothes you want rid of but are good enough quality that other people will want. TAKE clothes you find and suit you - try to take only as much as you bring. Tickets available here.

The Thales 3

20-24 Nov from 9am each day Protestors are needed to support activists being tried at Glasgow Sherrif’s Court for shutting down Thales weapon factory in Govan last year. Read more

25 Nov 3:30-5:30pm The local women and non-binary football team are hosting a fundraiser tournament with a raffle — all money raised will be donated to Medical Aid for Palestine. Read more

Greater Glasgow School Strike for Palestine - Family Friendly Fundraiser

17 Dec, 1-7pm Bouncy castle, face painting and kids crafts will be available for the wee ones at this family friendly fundraiser for Palestine. Authentic Palestinian food will also be served along with sweets and cakes. Read More.

Reading Group Rumpus Room: Palestine History and Culture

Rumpus Room are starting a new reading group next month at the studio with @hussmitha & @mayalikethemonth exploring Palestine's History & Culture.

These sessions are for POC young people and their peers aged 16-25 and will take place on Friday 8th Dec & 15th Dec 4-6pm at the studio.

Global Justice Youth

Global Justice Youth has organised several events for We Rise 2024. Expect interactive and lively workshops, a dive into activist history, zine and poster making, climate justice organising, an exploration of anti-colonial struggles with a focus on Palestinian solidarity and more. The gathering will feature international activists addressing global issues, with the following + more to be announced:A few of which will take place in Scotland. More information can be found here.
