About the artist and the work (ENG/ROMANES):

I am an ordinary woman with a genetic eye defect, but

Me sim ek romni cu iek iak genetico defecto, da ande

despite this - or because of it - I paint.

ciuda sau anda codes me farbuiu

My paintings are abstract, holy and Romani.

Mire farburi sin aver, sfinto hai romane

In each of them there is a piece of my faith,

Ande sea ko iel si ak kotor anda maro pakiamo,

identity and inner world.

identitatea hai miri lumea

For me, creation is a way to cross boundaries

Anda mande, creatia si ek felo te nakau pau nasulimos

And give shape to what I feel,

hai te dau forma ka so akiarau

But cannot express in words.

da nasti penau .
